Years ago, one of my kids sweetly observed,, “Your last name is Baker, and you like to cook, so you’re a Cooking Baker!” The name stuck and the story became the inspiration for this space. Whether you’re after a recipe, a local recommendation, or a little inspiration, you’re in the right place.

When I’m not cooking or exploring, I’m spending time with family and friends, dabbling in photography, enjoying a good book, or trying to keep my ever-growing collection of house plants alive.
